Some of our service providers are based outside the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area (EEA), including in the United States. Where we transfer your personal data outside the UK or EEA, we ensure an appropriate level of protection is in place, for example through transfers to countries deemed to provide adequate protection; the use of the UK International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA) or the UK Addendum, and/or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses; and/or providers' certification under recognised data protection frameworks. You can contact us at privacy@thisisone.tv for more information about the safeguards we use.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at privacy@thisisone.tv. We will respond within the timeframes required by law (usually one month). We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

11. Data retention

We keep your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which we collected it, including to satisfy any legal, accounting or reporting requirements. Enquiry and contact data is generally retained for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards; marketing data is retained until you unsubscribe or ask us to stop, and for a short period afterwards to record your preference; and analytics data is retained in line with the retention settings of the relevant analytics provider. When we no longer need your personal data, we will securely delete or anonymise it.

12. Security

We have put in place appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised or unlawful processing, accidental loss, destruction or damage. We limit access to your personal data to those who have a genuine business need. Please note that no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.

13. Third-party links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites, plug-ins and applications. Clicking on those links may allow third parties to collect or share data about you. We do not control these third-party websites and are not responsible for their privacy statements. We encourage you to read the privacy policy of every website you visit.

If you are in the EEA, you may lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority in your country of residence, place of work, or the place of the alleged infringement.
